Programs like CTTP-WM and YTTW give organized labor an opportunity to work in consortiums with other community stakeholders such as local school boards, community and faith based organizations. While helping current residents of our urban centers by raising skill levels and developing links to good jobs, collaborations between labor and the community also break down the barriers that historically existed and build long-term relationships, which will benefit future generations of New Jersey ’s workers.
