17 Days Until Election Day: Union Members Brave Nor’easter to Deliver Labor’s Message During Statewide Labor Walks

Although the rain did not let up this Saturday, neither did 1,235 union members that successfully knocked on over 43,000 doors during numerous labor walks held across the state.

Governor Corzine joined labor walkers in Cherry Hill, New Jersey today to thank them for their dedicated work in the Labor 2009 program, while his running mate, Senator Loretta Weinberg delivered a similar message to union members in Maplewood, New Jersey, where she reminded volunteers of the major role they play in this election.

This campaign is at its height and we are more than capable of winning by following through with the enormous efforts we have demonstrated thus far. We want to thank all of the unions that have been out on the walks and for bringing us one step closer to victory on November 3, 2009.
