REGISTER TODAY: U.S. Department of Labor Compliance Assistance Workshop and Union Education Forum
We would like to inform all affiliates about a free educational workshop being conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor at the Rutgers Labor Education Center next week.

Representatives from multiple Department of Labor agencies including OSHA, the Office of Labor Management Standards (OLMS), and the Employee Benefit Security Administration (EBSA) will be present to discuss topics of interest to the labor community, including, but not limited to the following:
- Complying with the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act: Forms LM-2, 3 and 4, financial recordkeeping, and union officer elections
- Working with the Department to ensure compliance with Federal wage laws
- How to Protect Your Members’ Retirement Plans
- Working with OSHA to Ensure Your Members Have a Safe Workplace
- Agency Requirements and What They Mean for You and Your Members
