Participation at Labor Walks Essential to Election Day Success
We need your support to kick the labor walks and Labor 2012 political program into high gear. Election Day is only 38 days from now, and we only ask that you to commit a few hours of your spare time each week to get our endorsed candidates to the finish line. Too much is at stake to let this election slip through our fingers. We need to be vigilant and we need to make sure working families are heard in this election.
We thank the many volunteers who are participating in the labor walks and helping to ensure our success on Election Day. We also thank our CLC Presidents and union brothers and sisters for utilizing our new computerized sign-in system which allows us to recognize the hard work of all our volunteers.
The most costly error we can make in this election is to stay home when polling favors our endorsed candidates. Polls are deceiving because despite what they say now, they have no bearing on who actually gets elected. Just remember that polls don’t make a difference; you do by knocking on doors, making phone calls, talking to friends and family, and getting out the vote.
