VOTE YES on Ballot Question #1
This Election Day, we can all agree on the benefit of investing in job creation and education in New Jersey. Ballot Question #1 is a bipartisan initiative that will move our state economy forward, achieves quality higher education in New Jersey, and represents the first investment in higher education in nearly a quarter century.
Approval of Ballot Question #1 will generate approximately 10,000 much needed jobs in New Jersey. You have the power; you have the vote to make this happen. Jobs would be created across all sectors of the labor movement including the building and construction trades, education sector, and service industry. Thousands of jobs would also be created as a result of the economic growth that would stem from this investment.
These construction projects will help to expand college enrollment capacity and build state-of-the-art facilities so that New Jersey colleges attract the best and brightest students and our state retains the best students, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
With painfully high unemployment in New Jersey, this is an opportunity to create jobs and enhance our education system that cannot be passed up. When going to the polls on Election Day we strongly encourage you to VOTE YES on Ballot Question #1.
