Volunteers come out in full-force as we edge closer to November’s elections
Today, our Labor Walks launched at several new Central Labor Councils, including Middlesex/Somerset, Passaic, Northwest, and Southern New Jersey.
With only 38 days left until the elections, labor volunteers were out in full-force. In total, 675 volunteers knocked on more than 23,590 union household doors. This was no doubt an impressive turn-out, and as always, we thank everyone who has dedicated their time and energy to our educational efforts thus far.
To say the stakes are high in November’s elections is a tremendous understatement. We cannot afford to leave anything to chance. We need to mobilize the full strength of our movement, which will all but guarantee our success.
Next Saturday, we need you, along with your family and friends, to join us and help spread the word about our endorsed candidates. To volunteer for the labor walk nearest you, CLICK HERE.
Remember: Our Labor Walks are your chance to step up to the plate and make a difference, to connect with your brothers and sisters and shed light on the issues that matter to you and your family. The time you invest will translate into votes for our endorsed candidates and perhaps determine the outcome of this election. If we work together, and we walk together, we will win together.
