People all over the country will be calling members of Congress on June 3, 2015, to let them know that working families cannot afford another bad global trade deal. Fast Track gives the president too much power to negotiate trade deals that shortchange American workers and stifle the U.S. economy.
Fast Track passed the Senate last month and is expected to be considered by the House soon. This may be our last chance to #StopFastTrack.
The AFL-CIO has designated Wednesday, June 3, 2015 as a national call-in day to urge members of Congress to stand with working families by opposing Fast Track. Please join us by calling 1-855-712-8441.
All trade hotline callers will be connected directly to the office of their Congressional representative after providing their five-digit zip code. Urge your representative to vote ‘No’ on Fast Track because it’s undemocratic and will make it even harder for working families to make ends meet.
You can also make your opposition to Fast Track known via email. To email your representative, CLICK HERE.
Thank you for your continued support. We must oppose Fast Track with loud, clear voices as the House gets ready to vote on this misguided legislation. Let’s make some noise!
