The labor gathering created a positive and supportive atmosphere for pro-working family candidates and elected officials including Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr., Roy Cho, Mark Dunec, Assemblyman Gary Schaer, Freeholder Bruce James, and labor candidate John Capo, who is a union bricklayer running for Passaic County Freeholder. The council was also proud to be joined by Essex-West Hudson CLC President Tom Giblin, Hudson County CLC President Pete Busacca and Bergen County CLC President Mike Schneider.
With only 39 days left until Election Day, this breakfast provided a valuable opportunity for union members to join in solidarity with one another and meet with the elected officials and candidates who are committed to elevating the voice of working families in our communities and in Washington.
