The New Jersey State AFL-CIO invites you to join us at River Front Rehabilitation in Pennsauken on June 7, as we gather in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of RWDSU, Local 108 to oppose the health care facility’s egregious attempts to cut benefits and profit off the backs of their workers.
When: Friday, June 7, 2019—2:30 p.m.
Where: River Front Rehabilitation, 5101 No. Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ 08109
With contract negotiations between River Front Rehabilitation (formerly Cooper River) and RWDSU, Local 108 at a standstill, the Local has decided to take action and withhold labor. The primary issues at the root of the dispute are the Company’s proposed, unreasonable “give-backs” of Employees Paid Time Off and Comprehensive Health Care Plan benefits.
Members of Local 108 maintain that these specific issues will directly impact their ability to care for themselves and could in turn jeopardize their ability to provide the best quality of care for their patients.
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO stands in solidarity with the nursing home workers employed at River Front Rehab. As a one million member strong state federation, it is our duty to protect and preserve the rights of all working men and women, and we will not allow the owners of River Front Rehab—or any health care facility—to deny their workers the benefits they deserve.
Wear your union colors, show your union pride!
