This Tuesday, June 5, 2018 is Primary Election Day across New Jersey when voters will choose both the Republican and Democratic candidates to face off in this year’s General Election contests including U.S. Senate, all 12 seats to the U.S. House of Representatives, eight special state legislative elections, freeholders, mayors, council, and committee seats across our state.
We encourage all union members, their family and friends to exercise their right to vote in their party’s Primary Election. A voter who is not currently affiliated with either political party may declare themselves Democrat or Republican at the polls and cast a vote in that party’s Primary Election.

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO strongly encourages all union voters to go to the polls and cast their votes for candidates who will fight for working families and our unions. Working together, the voice of working families will continue to be heard in the halls of government.
Polls will be open between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm
