Election Day is closer than you think; we will soon head to the polls – that is of course if you are registered to vote. If you are not registered already, you must do so before the deadline of Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Check your voter registration status HERE or complete your voter registration form HERE.
There is no way to register electronically, so be sure to plan ahead since you will need to print and mail in your completed form by the October 18th deadline. Postage is not necessary. You may also deliver your registration forms in person to your respective county clerk’s office which you can find HERE.
While our education and mobilization efforts cannot be understated, this election comes down to votes. So please make sure that you, your friends, family, and coworkers are aware of the deadline and register to vote.
This election is a watershed moment for workers in this country. On one hand we have Hillary Clinton, who has spent her entire adult life working to improve the lives of working families, on the other hand we have Donald Trump, who has amassed a personal fortune on the backs of workers and by stiffing countless contractors.
By registering to vote and casting your ballot on Election Day, November 8th, the labor movement can unequivocally reject Donald Trump and stop the wave of destruction he threatens to bring to our country and our unions. The choice is clear, and we must stand with those candidates who stand up for us.
