With only three days to go, this morning over 1,446 union volunteers came out and knocked on union household doors to get out the vote for one State Senate and all 80 Assembly seats, as well as 67 endorsed labor candidates.
By showing our strength on the Saturday Labor Walks and on Election Day, we make it clear that the voice of labor cannot be ignored as we fight for a stronger, fairer New Jersey for all working families. By knocking over 43,380 doors today, labor has the momentum needed to deliver decisive victories for our Labor Candidates and endorsed politicians.
With voter turnout at the polls expected to be at historic lows, Labor will make the difference by driving union members out to vote.
Today every sector of the labor movement, from the building and construction trades, to public employees, to health care, service sector, manufacturing, transportation, education and many more, all worked in solidarity to elect New Jersey State AFL-CIO endorsed candidates and 67 labor candidates.
Thank you to all of our Central Labor Councils who sponsored labor walks this weekend and to our affiliates who sent union member volunteers. Your commitment makes a difference!
Keep the momentum going! It’s not too late to volunteer on Election Day and help the voice of labor be heard.
