The New Jersey State AFL-CIO is proud to congratulate the following newly elected officers of the Middlesex/Somerset Central Labor Council:
President – Wayne Martiak (IBEW 456)
Executive VP – Jean Pierce (HPAE)
Treasurer – John “Jackie” Hoey (UA 9)
Rec. Sec. – Kevin McCarthy (IFPTE 194)
We would also like to commend Brother Thomas Tighe for his many years of leadership as President of the CLC along with his team for their diligent efforts to strengthen and mobilize members across the region in support of our working family values.
We realize that the long-term success of the CLC is thanks to the hard working union volunteers and leaders who dedicate their Saturdays and hours of their personal time seven days a week for the purpose of moving labor’s political program forward. We are especially proud that those same individuals will be the ones to assume the reins of leadership moving forward.
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO once again congratulates the newly elected officers of the Middlesex/Somerset CLC, and look forward to their ongoing efforts to drive the success of the council and the working families it represents.
