As American and Canadian employers of union brothers and sisters slow down manufacturing of clothing and other items, they are ramping up production of personal protective equipment, so desperately needed on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic, especially by union health care workers, grocery and retail workers, transportation workers — in fact, in all sectors of labor.
