Special Announcement:  Endorsement of  Analilia Mejia

Special Announcement:
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO Endorses Analilia Mejia

Today, the New Jersey State AFL-CIO Executive Board unanimously voted to endorse Analilia Mejia, in the special election which will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, to fill the vacant seat in New Jersey’s 11th congressional district.

This endorsement is a result of Mejia’s proven record of supporting working people in our state throughout the 25 years she spent as a union activist and organizer. She has been a fierce advocate for all working people across New Jersey.  As our congresswoman, Mejia would continue the work of expanding worker’s rights while building an economy that works for all working people.

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO is proud to stand with Analilia Mejia in this Special Election. Together, we will ensure the voice of labor is amplified in our state as we work together to deliver important victories for New Jersey’s working families.
