HPAE Reaches Tentative Agreement at Sunrise House Thanks to Union Solidarity

Sunrise-House.jpg

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO congratulates HPAE on reaching a tentative agreement for 120 addiction treatment workers at AAC/Sunrise House. This victory could not have been possible without the solidarity and assistance of our many affiliates, who walked with our brothers and sisters on the picket line and sent letters to management during a strike and lockout which took place over the last three weeks.

AAC/Sunrise House is an in-patient addiction treatment center in Lafayette, NJ. The tentative agreement addresses many of the issues that impact employees and patient care such as improvements in working conditions, staffing shortages, and wages.

Once again, it was your solidarity that brought management back to the table and made this contract possible. We thank you for your dedication to the fight for good jobs and serving the community through the work that you do.
