Labor’s in the House!

Labor is in the House for President Biden’s State of the Union address to the Joint Session of Congress!

I am honored that our IBEW Brother Congressman Norcross invited me as his guest for the State of the Union.

As a lifelong union member and graduate of our labor candidates school, Brother Norcross fights tirelessly to make sure that the voices of New Jersey’s working families are heard in Washington D.C.

His ongoing advocacy and leadership brings in millions of federal dollars for New Jersey’s workers across every sector and trade. Among the many pro-worker initiatives he spearheads, he has secured funding to protect our first responders, provided veterans the opportunity to receive registered apprenticeships, boosted South Jersey’s healthcare workforce, created American manufacturing jobs, ensured retirement security for transportation workers, and developed New Jersey’s off-shore wind energy resources.

I am proud to have this historic opportunity to advocate for New Jersey’s working families alongside the elected officials who make decisions that impact our unions, workplaces and communities on the national level.

Together, we look forward to President Biden’s thoughts and vision on working together across party lines to create an economy that lifts up working families and grows the middle class.
