Thanksgiving: A time of gratitude and solidarity

Thanksgiving will be very different this year. Our tables may be smaller or even virtual, yet many of us have a deeper gratitude for what we have.

This Thanksgiving, we have a deeper appreciation of our strong, cherished union values. The New Jersey State AFL-CIO witnessed with pride how those values brought our unions together in the true spirit of solidarity. We thank all of our unions who volunteered, assisted and served our sisters and brothers throughout this difficult and challenging year.

Thanksgiving 2020 may be different, but one thing remains the same: our solidarity. Even when we are socially distanced, we are still together. And for that, we are grateful.

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO hopes next year will be better for all of us. We wish every family a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

With Deepest Gratitude,
