The Park & Garden project in Hoboken broke ground in 2013, putting to work hundreds of skilled union craftsmen and women from the surrounding community. Over its duration, this project is expected to create a total of 655 union construction jobs, including more than 1.3 million union construction hours.

Today, the New Jersey State AFL-CIO was proud to join with national, state, and local union leaders and allies from the business community to host a worker appreciation luncheon that honored and gave thanks to the skilled union men and women working to construct Park & Garden.
This project continues the robust economic development of the City of Hoboken through residential and retail expansion and will carry the stamp of skilled union labor. Our brothers and sisters are the best trained to get the job done on-time and on-budget while upholding the highest level of professionalism, diligence, and safety.
