AFSCME Local 2286 Member Crystal Feliciano Elected to Trenton City Council

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO is proud to announce that our union sister Crystal Feliciano, member of AFSCME Local 2286 and graduate of our Labor Candidates School, was elected to Trenton City Council in yesterday’s run off-election.

Equally inspiring is the fact that Sister Feliciano decided to run for office to represent our sisters and brothers when decisions about the futures of working people were being made. In February 2022, the outgoing City Council refused to approve funding for Local 2286’s already negotiated and agreed-to contract, which included pay raises and promotions.

We celebrate Sister Feliciano’s election as the 1,232nd victory for our labor candidates program.
