The New Jersey State AFL-CIO has been conducting a widespread campaign to prevent the misclassification of employees as independent contractors. Included in this fight is our advocacy for new state Department of Labor regulations on the “ABC test,” which some legislators and business groups are seeking to delay the implementation of.
