Take Action: Tell McConnell to stop holding the HEROES Act hostage

New Jersey needs the HEROES Act now. New Jersey Representatives helped pass it in the House and Senators Menendez and Booker will vote for it – IF it gets posted in the Senate.

But Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will not bring it up for a vote, and President Trump says he will veto it. Meanwhile, their proposed “stimulus” bill brings back the three-martini lunch but leaves New Jersey without funds, again.

Laid-off workers need the $600 supplement. New Jersey schools need money to reopen safely while coronavirus cases increase. Frontline heroes need hazard pay and protective equipment. Towns need to keep first responders on the job.

New Jersey’s senators are ready, and the New Jersey State AFL-CIO thanks them for standing with New Jersey’s working families.

Let our senators know you appreciate their support and ask them to tell McConnell and Trump to act now for working families. Call 866-832-1560 and make your voice heard.
