The New Jersey State AFL-CIO is proud to dedicate the 25th Annual Labor Candidates School in honor of AFL-CIO President Richard L. Trumka, our leader and friend who dedicated his life to improving the lives and working conditions of every American.
President Trumka was an enthusiastic supporter of the New Jersey State AFL-CIO Labor Candidates Program.
The 25th Annual Labor Candidates School was conducted on August 14 and 15, 2021. The New Jersey State AFL-CIO thanks all instructors, guests and participants, and also is deeply grateful to IBEW Local 456, North Brunswick, and Business Manager Joseph V. Egan, for serving as the host site, and to the Middlesex/Somerset Counties Central Labor Council and President Wayne Martiak for tireless support of the Labor Candidates Program.
